The burning time is important for your handmade candle to burn perfectly. A minimum burning time of 2 hours must be respected, in order to allow your candle to burn evenly over its entire surface, the wax having time to melt to the edge of the pot. This way, you avoid the problem of the candle hollowing out and you can enjoy your scented candle from L'Atelier Ginko until the end.

A quality wick allows your handmade candle to burn properly. We only use wicks labeled 100% cotton . In order to ensure the proper combustion of your candle, different aspects must be checked at the level of the wick of your candle. A good wick at the right length allows your handmade candle to burn as cleanly as possible. Do not hesitate to cut the wick the first time you use your candle to prevent it from being too long!

LITTLE EXTRA: After burning, the end of the wick may pill, cut it before reusing your candle. This will prevent the release of black smoke.

Caution: A Hot Candle

Obviously, never leave a candle unattended and remember to protect the piece of furniture on which the candle is placed, for example using a ceramic dish.

Never let a candle burn for more than 3 hours to allow the glass to cool.
